How are items shipped?
Normally we use a Royal Mail ‘signed-for’ method. This usually means that you or someone else will need to be at home to sign for the delivery. Often we can provide you with a tracking code by email so that you will know what day the delivery is expected. If you are not at home then the postman will usually leave a card at your location explaining that the package could not be delivered on that day and what to do next.
How are items packaged?
Very carefully! We want your purchase to reach you in exactly the same condition it left us.
How much does delivery cost?
Currently all items on this site have free shipping if posted to locations within mainland UK if you opt for the Standard Delivery rate. Expedited delivery is possible at a small extra charge (e.g. next day delivery). If you are purchasing from outside the UK mainland then shipping costs will apply – please contact me about this.
How quickly will my order reach me?
We aim to get your order to you as fast as possible, usually within a few days or a week at the outside. If you want your order the next day then a Fast Delivery rate is available at a small extra charge. You have to pay for Fast Delivery but it means that we drop everything and focus on getting your order to the post office real quick! If an item is out of stock then it may take a little longer (say, 2 weeks to get it made then shipped) but we will advise you if that is the case — if you have paid for fast delivery in this case then we will refund you for the postage. If you need your order for a present for someone then please let us know about this and we’ll do our best to get it to you in time.
