Sandy Mouth is a most spectacular location. There’s something about the coming together of remoteness, the huge sea stacks, the vast beach when the tide is out and the changeable weather that makes this place remarkable. Just a pity its name sounds so mundane. But the name is unimportant really, if you haven’t been there I’d highly recommend a visit when the tide is out or partially-out.
