Trebarwith Surfer and Dog Print

Trebarwith Surfer and Dog

‘Trebarwith Surfer And Dog’ is a high quality archival art print in a limited edition of only 195. It is a print of an oil painting by West Country artist Lawrence Dyer.

Trebarwith Strand is a spectacular cove sheltered by high cliffs to each side and notable for its sandy beach and gently sloping rock outcrops. On one side of the cove these rock outcrops are so extensive that visitors frequently spread their towels there and set up for the day. This does take pressure off the somewhat limited, though certainly not small, beach area.

Popular with swimmers and surfers, the little bay of Trebarwith Strand features a large rock out to sea, known as ‘Gull Rock’. (See my comments on this name on the Black Rock Widemouth page). There is also a very good pub up on the side of the cliff which gives a commanding view of the Strand and the cliffs beyond.

In the painting that made this art print I have tried to capture the contrast of the cliff with the lighter colours of the sea and also the vibrant colours of the place itself on a sunny day.

You are buying a limited edition art print made of archival paper and set in an off-white mount.
