Stepping Stones, Dartmeet

The Stepping Stones At Dartmeet – Fine Art Giclee Print, Limited Edition

Dartmeet is in the middle of Dartmoor. It is the place where the East Dart and West Dart meet, a place of rocks and Neolithic clapper bridges hemmed in by high moorland. Closeby a series of boulders have been arranged to cross the fast flowing and often-flooding river.

The stones were set there who-knows-how-long-ago, perhaps in Neolithic times too. At the place where they are, when the river is not too high, they provide a means to get across to the other side, but you best be careful unless you slip on the green-wet boulders, or don’t have the stride to reach to the next one.

Giclee fine art print hand-signed and individually numbered by the artist. Mounted. Limited edition of 195 only.
